Son Doong Cave, Vietnam
Only explored for the first time in 2009, this was revealed to be the biggest known cave in the world, averaging 200m wide and 150m tall.
With the appearance of a gigantic underground cathedral, "Hang Son Doong" is so big that it has its own weather system! It also contains an inner forest and a fast flowing river, among other curiosities.
